Privacy Policy

Progress Princess (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a personal habit, mood, journal and cycle-tracking app operated by Sundala Studio. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions? Email privacy@progressprincess.com.

The short version: we only collect what the app needs to work. Your journal, moods and cycle data are private to you. There are no ads and no third-party trackers, and we never sell your data.

Information we collect

Account

Your email address, used to sign in and to sync your data across your devices.

Content you create

The things you add in the app: your habits and daily ticks (streaks), mood and motivation check-ins, journal entries, cycle tracking data, reminders, and any photo you choose to add to a weekly recap. We store this so it’s there when you open the app and syncs across your devices.

Health data

Cycle tracking involves sensitive health information. We treat it with extra care: it is private to your account, is never used for advertising, and is never sold or shared for marketing.

Notifications

If you turn on reminders, we store a device push token so we can deliver the notifications you asked for. You can turn these off at any time in the app or your device settings.

Technical data

The minimum needed to run and secure the service — for example, basic error logs and timestamps. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

How we use your data

• To provide the app and sync your data across devices.
• To keep your streaks and history, and to send the reminders you set.
• To power the journal “ask” answers and your weekly recap.
• To keep the service secure and to comply with our legal obligations.

AI features

When you ask your journal a question or generate a weekly recap, your entries are processed to produce that response for you. This processing happens only to serve your request. Where a third-party AI provider is used to generate a response, your content is sent solely to produce your answer and is not used to train their models.

Storage and security

Your data is stored on our own infrastructure and transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS). Access is limited to what’s needed to operate the service. No method of storage or transmission is ever 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers needed to run the app — for example Apple, which processes your subscription and delivers the app, and our hosting infrastructure. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Your rights and choices

You can access, export, correct or delete your data. You can delete your account in the app, or by emailing privacy@progressprincess.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK) or the CCPA (California), including the right to object to or restrict certain processing.

Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your content from our live systems, except where we’re required to retain limited records to meet legal obligations.

Children

Progress Princess isn’t directed to children under 16 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country). We don’t knowingly collect data from children.

International transfers

If your data is processed in a country other than your own, we take steps to ensure it remains protected in line with this policy and applicable law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll post the new version here and update the “last updated” date above.
